I am a photographer.

I am a videographer. 

My name is Nathan Ostrander. I am originally from Northern California, but I currently work in the Boston Area. I attended the Rochester Institute of Technology where I study Motion Picture Science. 

I have been taking pictures for over 10 years and producing and editing videos for 8 years. I love the process of creating content. This was something that I never thought I would be able to do as a job when I was a kid, but as I grew up I realized how many opportunities exist in these fields.

During the school year I get the opportunity to take both film and technology classes. I also get to work with people with tech backgrounds and art backgrounds thanks to the diverse student body RIT has. Over the summer I work for Culture Pop Films, which is a film production company based in Santa Rosa, Ca. There we do everything from nation wide commercials to local PSA's. At Culture Pop I focus mostly on editing and sound mixing, but because of out small crew style I will help with the camera and with grip/gaff.
